Abstract
This paper has addressed the importance of leadership in primary education as a key element to strengthen students' socio-emotional skills and improve the school climate from the first years of formation. The research, with a quantitative and quasi-experimental approach, made it possible to explore how the application of leadership strategies influences the integral development of students. Through questionnaires, hypothesis tests, and pre- and post-intervention evaluations, it was evidenced that the promotion of positive leadership in early school contexts generates significant improvements in competencies such as self-esteem, collaboration, and conflict resolution. The findings underscore that active pedagogical practices, based on individual participation and recognition, are essential to foster effective leadership among children in primary school.
