Abstract
Socio-affective development in 5-year-olds is characterized by significant growth in their ability to understand and manage their emotions and interact with others. Children begin to develop empathy at this age, understanding how their actions may affect others. In this work, psychomotor skills in 5-year-old children have been analyzed, to know its effect on socio-emotional behavior. To this end, a documentary review of academic and research material has been carried out, where the main characteristics that link psychomotor skills with socio-affective behavior were identified. The main results revealed a close relationship and that promoting programs that promote psychomotor skills in school, contributes significantly to improving children's social and emotional behavior.
