Abstract
En este estudio cualitativo se analiza el impacto de la inteligencia artificial generativa (IAG) en el estrés y la ansiedad laboral en This qualitative study analyzes the impact of generative artificial intelligence (AGI) on work stress and anxiety in Latin America, also considering cultural influence and national regulations. Semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and reflective diaries were conducted with 30 workers from sectors highly exposed to cognitive automation, such as call centers, publishing, and virtual education. The thematic analysis, based on the Braun and Clarke method, revealed that job substitution anxiety and job redefinition are the most frequent concerns, followed by increased cognitive load and technostress. It was identified that work priorities (immediacy vs. quality) and regulatory frameworks modulate the emotional experience of workers. Coping strategies, such as self-directed learning and work support networks, partially reduce the psychological impact. A balanced integration of technological training and mental health programmes adapted to each national context is recommended.
